Our standard American barrels are match grade air gauged double stress relieved SAE4140 and SAE 416R SS. Pillar Bedding - It is highly recommended that the rifles be bedded to achieve the best accuracy. In fact our warranty for accuracy is from a properly bedded rifle. - $85.00

ARS Tunable Muzzle Brake - We have solved the accuracy problem without the expense of new barrels. This brake is installed in a proprietary interference fit. It makes use of thermal expansion for installation and does not require the threading of the muzzle. This makes for a completely stable installation with some advantages. The end of the barrel is actually “choked” down due to the 70000-PSI constriction on the muzzle that the brake produces. Bore’s dia. under the brake is reduced as much as .0015”. This “choke boring” has been used for years on match rifles to increase the accuracy. This is coupled with the tenability that the brake affords. Allows the shooter to adjust the vibration of the rifle’s barrel to achieve the highest level of accuracy. This will not make a shot out barrel shoot like a new one but will help in every instance used. This brake will increase the accuracy of your rifle (when bedded) to 1.5” or better. Groups guaranteed with the addition of only 6.5 oz to the weight of the rifle. It will also reduce recoil to 22 WMR levels and reduce the violent ejection that the Ranch model rifles are known for. Brass is thrown 5 feet from braked Ranch rifles. The addition of the blind plug will completely eliminate the muzzle brake effect and retain the tunable nature of the comp.
